The 2012 Princess 60 ELENA combines generous accommodation, expansive outdoor areas and a comprehensive cruising specification. Located in Phuket, Thailand, this 61-foot flybridge yacht features twin Volvo D13-900 diesel engines, Seakeeper gyro stabilisation and a hydraulic bathing platform.
At the heart of ELENA are twin 900 hp Volvo diesel engines driving conventional shafts. Bow and stern thrusters support confident handling, while dual-station controls provide convenience from either helm. In addition, the Seakeeper stabiliser enhances comfort while cruising and at anchor.
The flybridge creates an inviting setting for open-air relaxation and entertaining. A GRP hardtop provides welcome shelter, while the wet bar includes a refrigerator and SMEG electric barbecue. The area also features generous seating, a dining table and a dedicated upper helm station.
On the main deck, the teak-laid cockpit connects directly with the saloon. Meanwhile, the hydraulic bathing platform lowers for convenient access to the water and can carry a tender on its fitted chocks. Teak side decks lead forward to a sunbathing area on the foredeck.
Furthermore, blue LED deck lighting and six underwater lights enhance the yacht’s evening presence.
Inside, Serotina cherry joinery with a satin finish creates a warm and timeless atmosphere. Leather seating defines the main saloon, while large windows introduce abundant natural light. The adjoining dining area and well-equipped galley support relaxed meals and longer stays aboard.
Below deck, ELENA accommodates six guests across three cabins. The arrangement comprises a full-beam owner’s cabin, a forward double cabin and a twin guest cabin. Two bathrooms serve the guest accommodation. A separate twin-berth crew cabin provides additional flexibility.
The galley includes a combination microwave oven, four-zone ceramic hob and full-height refrigerator/freezer. Additional amenities include a wine cooler, icemaker, washer/dryer and Bose entertainment system. Tropical air conditioning serves the saloon, dining area, guest cabins and crew accommodation.
Raymarine navigation equipment supports both helm stations and includes multifunction displays, radar, GPS, autopilot, speed and depth instrumentation. Four onboard cameras provide added visibility, while IP cameras allow remote access through the internet.
An Onan 17.5 kW generator supports the yacht’s onboard systems. Other practical equipment includes an electric anchor windlass, freshwater anchor wash, holding tank, hot-and-cold transom shower and automatic safety systems.
ELENA has remained under Princess Yacht Management and has had two owners from new. Recorded updates include Raymarine displays, teak, Fusion audio, autopilot, engine instruments, refrigerator, cooking stove and new carpet in 2024.
The 2012 Princess 60 ELENA offers a strong combination of flybridge living, comfortable accommodation and capable cruising equipment. Please contact Boat Lagoon Yachting to arrange a viewing in Phuket.
