Earlier this year on March 25th, an exceptional evening event was held in Cannes, France to launch Jeanneau’s latest design, the DB/43 yacht. France is the home of Jeanneau and the company was so proud of their latest creation that they wanted to launch it in the company of their compatriots.
Described as a day boat, this yacht is dedicated to the pleasures of the sea and sun. As Boat Lagoon Yachting caught a glimpse of the sleek lines and numerous features this yacht offers, it became clear that this Jeanneau Yacht was ideal for the exotic waters of Southeast Asia.
The yacht offers accommodation for the owner, plus a couple of friends. The well-designed and inviting white oak-panelled interior features a spacious and bright owner’s cabin and a full-beam width forward guest cabin that has a double berth and a possible third berth, all equipped with air conditioning to keep you and your guests cool and comfortable.
With the spacious beach club atmosphere provided by the deck layout, you and your guests can enjoy exploring the islands and unforgettable beaches of Southeast Asia in elegance and comfort. Snorkel or scuba dive off the yacht’s expansive aft swimming platform or enjoy drinks at sunset nestled in the forward cockpit as you head for a tropical cove to spend the night. The DB/43 is the perfect yacht for the islands, coves and beaches of Southeast Asia.
Jeanneau DB/43’s Features
The DB/43 is made for relaxation and ease of use. It has a bow thruster for getting into and out of slips and mooring areas easily. The Sportop version of the yacht features an electric hardtop that can be retracted. It also features a sunshade for the front cockpit to provide relief from the afternoon sun. The other relaxing features of the deck area include an aft sunbed and an exterior galley with a BBQ area for entertaining whilst at sea.
Power and Performance
The DB/43 offers a well-engineered balance of power and performance. The craft is powered by a trio of Mercury 350 horsepower Verado JPO Cold Fusion outboard engines. Control of the engines is via an easy-to-use joystick. These powerful engines propel a sleek v-shaped hull designed by Michael Peters that supports the overall sporty design by Camillo Garroni Design.
The Jeanneau DB/43 represents the ideal marriage of creative and innovative design visions. The yacht combines the well-known savoir-faire in naval construction of Jeanneau with the power and precision of Mercury engines to deliver a superior experience for you to enjoy the Southeast Asia yachting lifestyle.
