Princess Y95 flagship launched regionally at exclusive VIP event in Singapore
Southeast Asia debut for 95ft luxury yacht indicates strong growth in upper end of the market
The opulent all-new Princess Y95 flagship yacht built by the prestigious Princess Yachts brand in Plymouth, United Kingdom, made its debut in Asia on Saturday 28 October 2023 with a lavish invitation-only event in Singapore organised by Boat Lagoon Yachting under the stewardship of Princess Yachts South East Asia.
One of the largest ever gatherings of Princess yacht owners and members of the extended Princess Yachts family boarded the Princess Y95 at ONE°15 Marina Sentosa Cove to celebrate its arrival in the region with premium food and beverages, an entertainment programme, and a tour of the luxurious onboard facilities.
“We are very confident in the Southeast Asia market for luxury yachts in the 95ft category, as we have seen particularly high movement recently at the upper end of the market,” said Vrit Yongsakul, managing director of Boat Lagoon Yachting, sole dealer in the region for Princess Yachts.
“Over only the past two years, we have arranged the sale of five 95ft Princess yachts. Two of these were the X95 model. The other three are the Y95, purchased even before this model has arrived in our region. This is why we feel that the Princess Y95 is so important here at this time, and we really are thrilled to be introducing it in Singapore.”
Mr Yongsakul said that of the three Y95 models, the one in Singapore is the world premiere model. Another is currently berthed in Europe while the third made its debut at an international boat show when we displayed the craft at the Princess Yachts berth in the Cannes Yachting Festival 2023 in September.
“The Y Class is the most popular class in Southeast Asia,” he said. “We have sold ten units of the Y85, and now three units of the Y95. This adds up to the most sales numbers for any one class of yacht in the region, and is a world record for Princess Yachts.”

A media tour of the new Princess Y95 was hosted by Boat Lagoon Yachting head of marketing Kornlak Kaewkulaya for top-tier press when the new craft made her Asian debut in Singapore.
Thailand Boat Expo showcases ease and attraction of chartering
We showcased a variety of motorboats and sport boats at Thailand Boat Expo in November, along with offering a series of exclusive yacht charter deals during the event, with a bottle of bubbly included pre-voyage for anyone chartering a boat.
The expo was held at The PlayYard in Phuket, and being directly on the beach just 15 minutes from Phuket International Airport was a perfect setting for staying abreast of the newest trends in products and services while networking with businesses associated with the boating industry
Two craft were presented at the event for visitors to physically inspect, with the Jeanneau Cap Camarat 10.5 CC, flagship of the Cap Camarat line promising the ideal boat for fun and enjoyable day trips, while the Sacs Strider 11 sat at anchor with a special charter promotion available.
Visitors to our stand discovered that chartering a motor yacht and spending a day out on the ocean makes a wonderful occasion for the family or a group of friends!

Thailand International Boat Show 2024
The Thailand International Boat Show 2024 will take place at Royal Phuket Marina between 11 and 14 January 2024, with over 6,000 visitors and more than 100 exhibitors expected to attend.
Targeting those with an interest in boating and luxury lifestyle, the organisers will welcome visitors with an glittering array of yachts and boats of all sizes, both power and sail, ranging from dinghies and day boats up to superyachts.
We shall be there, of course, with a full display of our yachts and services. Look forward to seeing you in Phuket!
Boat Lagoon Yachting Phuket Rendezvous
Our annual Phuket Rendezvous, one of the key occasions on the yachting calendar in Southeast Asia and Thailand’s biggest and longest-running overnight yachting event since it began in 2011, will be hosted by us in February.
The Phuket Rendezvous is for Boat Lagoon Yachting boat owners and epitomises the perfect sea-going lifestyle for everyone, from frolicking in the ocean with jet skis and water toys, through to cruising around the picturesque islands of Phuket.
Gathering together will be a collection of craft and their owners, families and friends, and in addition to the camaraderie the activities will support Thailand as the main yacht destination in SEAsia.
Last year 15 luxury yachts took part, and at the end of the three-day event we all gathered in Phuket for a beach party.
